OK, I think I got this figured out. Apparently, there’s a new “Article Footer” area where you’re supposed to paste the AdSense for Feeds code. Except nothing in the instructions on the AdSense site says that’s where you’re supposed to post the code. Even after a couple of email exchanges with AdSense support, the best I got was “use Blogger’s feed template.”. That made no sense, so I went searching Blogger.com’s help area (since AdSense help was a bust), and found this article, which tells me exactly what I needed to know.
If only AdSense would have told me this in the first place, either in their instructions, or in my correspondence with their support people. I know it’s a new service, so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, and I have requested that they update their site documentation.
Anyway, here’s another test post, with the text below to test ad targeting. Hopefully this is the last one…
I love my Dell Axim x50v Pocket PC. Windows Mobile has definitely become my preferred mobile device OS, as I’ve ended up using a Windows Mobile Smartphone (the Audiovox SMT5600) after stints with the RIM BlackBerry 7100t and the PalmOne Treo 650. Lots of new devices on the horizon – the HTC Universal and Wizard look appealing. We’ll have to see if any of them can unseat the SMT5600 as my “daily driver” phone.
