Here’s this week’s show. You can download the MP3 file directly (right-click, save as), or subscribe to the TinyPodcast RSS feed in your favorite podcast aggregator to get the show delivered automatically to your computer and MP3 player. This week’s show is about 22 MB, 45 minutes.

This week, Brian and I chat about some new Sony digital cameras (DSC-M1, DSC-T7, and the DSC-H1) that a friend of ours got, more updates on the i-mate JASJAR/HTC Universal, and spend the majority of the time talking about my new Pocket PC Phone device – the Samsung i730 with Verizon EVDO high speed wireless data! w00t!

I’m absolutely in love with this device. Fast data speeds (I’ve been measuring about 500-900Kbps at various places around town), great form factor, etc. It’s the closest I’ve ever seen to the “perfect” converged device for me. You should definitely have a listen to this show, to see why I’m so twitterpated in love with this device. 🙂

As always, we love to get feedback! You can email us at or call our voice feedback line and leave us a message – 206-339-TINY. Let us know how we’re doing – good or bad.

Thanks for listening, and stay subscribed!

  1. Great show and congrats on the i730 purchase. Adding an EVDO device to your stable is like moving from dial-up to broadband; it’s life-changing. Would love to see a short TinyPodcast recorded on the i730 and then uploaded via the EVDO! Thanks for the techADDICTION mention as well.

  2. Moving to EVDO is definitely a big switch. I’m loving it!

I’ll definitely cook up a show on the i730 – I’ve already been playing with Resco Audio Recorder, and fiddling with a way of automating the uploading and posting of podcasts straight from the device. Stay subscribed, and you won’t miss it! 🙂
