Hack: Upload Photos to Flickr with the Kodak Easyshare Wireless Camera

Good old pt over at MAKE has documented the process he’s worked out to automate the uploading of photos from a Kodak Easyshare One camera (the one with wifi):

MAKE: Blog: HOW TO – Use the Kodak Wi-Fi Camera with Flickr

It will only work on a Mac, but I’m sure a Windows version of the hack will come along shortly. It basically watches a particular folder for photos, and uploads them to Flickr when they arrive. Set it to watch the folder where the Kodak software drops the photos from the camera, et viola! :-)

I said a while ago that I will buy the first decent digital camera that lets me upload photos wirelessly to Flickr. My camera (Nikon 5600, lives in my cargo pants pocket) died over the weekend, and if I can’t revive it, I might be in the market for a new camera…
