My latest (second? third?) install date for Verizon Fios fiber broadband is this Thursday, 1/12.
However, today our home phone line simply stopped working. Outbound calls go to the “dial 483 to order your Verizon service” message, and incoming calls get “this number has been disconnected”.
I have no idea what might have gone wrong in the vast, arcane innards of Verizon’s order system, but this is not leaving me with a warm a fuzzy feeling…
