Flickrstipation – Huge Backlog of Photos to Upload

I’m Flickrstipated. You know the feeling – so many photos queued up to upload to Flickr, but you don’t want to let them go without giving them the proper attention – tags, titles and descriptions, put them in relevant sets, etc.

I’ve got a couple months worth of photos that have been accumulating, and I think I’m going to just have to do a big, uh, bulk upload, not worrying about the metadata. At least get them out there, and relieve my backlog.

What do you think? Is a big blowout the cure for Flickrstipation? What do you do when you get that bloated, gassy, too many photos to upload feeling? ๐Ÿ˜‰

EDIT: Well, I’ve started just uploading a bunch of the waiting photos. Feels good. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve pretty much got ownership of the term “flickrstipation” in Google right now, too. No results in the main index, and the only results in Google Blog Search are this post. Whee! Chris, this might be a good candidate for the next “Gnomenclature”. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I gave up on tagging my images LONG ago! It just takes TOO much time, and I’d rather having something online than nothing. Create an album with a name and a date, and that’s it (full of pictures of course). And I still have only a small percentage of my stuff published! (12,000 of maybe 100,000).
