Photo Set – Using Boot Camp to Install Windows XP on a Mac

Here’s a photo set on Flickr of the cameraphone photos I took while I was messing around with Boot Camp this morning, installing Windows XP on my Intel Core Duo Mac mini.

If you’re subscribed to the TinyScreenfuls feed, you should see the photos show up automatically (one of the Feedburner tweaks I did the other day was to inject my Flickr photos tagged with “tinyscreenfuls” into my feed).

Either way, you can view the photos (6 total, taken with the 1.3 MP camera in my new Samsung A930 media phone) in the Flickr set.

Enjoy! ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. I’ve been slacking Josh, I haven’t kept up on your adventures with your new Apple! Crap. Well I see you installed Boot Camp…cool. I’ll use your experience as a learning tool ๐Ÿ™‚ Well, looks like i need to sell my Compaq notebook; any takers?

Good to see other Mac geeks at intel! Unfortunately, I could not get Boot Camp work for me, since after beginning installing the drivers CD on my mac mini core duo, I lost my keyboard and mouse — now that’s annoying to skip all the “this-driver-has-not-passed-the-XP-logo-certification” dialogs…

Guess I should read the docs first as well ๐Ÿ˜‰
