Unboxing.com under new management

I’ve been in the process of transferring one of my little side project sites, Unboxing.com, over to a new owner for a few weeks, and it looks like tonight, it’s up and running in its new home.

I sold the site to Andru Edwards of GearLive.com because I felt like I was neglecting it. I started it up, and it got really popular really fast, but I found that I just didn’t have time to keep up with posting things to it, and over time, it grew kind of stagnant.

So, I’m looking forward to seeing it thrive under Andru’s stewardship. The URL is the same, and the feed didn’t change, so you don’t have to do anything to keep up with the change. I just wanted to let everyone know about the transition, and wish Andru luck in providing us all with our gadget undressing fix. He hasn’t announced the change, so I hope I’m not jumping the gun with this, but I noticed that the new site was live, so here you go! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  1. Awww, I’m not why, but I’m kinda sad to hear that Josh no longer operates the site. But hey! I’m still happy that my MacBook Pro unpacking was on there back in the good ol’ Josh run days ๐Ÿ˜€

    Am I Old Skool?

  2. Nick, I’m happy with the arrangement we worked out. I knew Andru’s intentions from the beginning, and I’m OK with them. I had ads on it when it was mine, too, so I can’t exactly begrudge him wanting to make some revenue from it. :-)

  3. How about packing.com

I’m going to Singapore next week, and will make a nice set showing how I pack my Geek Bag ๐Ÿ˜€
