I’ve been home this week, taking care of our new baby, my wife, and Emma. It’s been very refreshing and recharging – I can’t really say why. Gabriel is an angel baby – eats, sleeps, and poops. Doesn’t fuss or cry much at all. I’ve been trying to keep Emma busy, and keep up with the housework, so Rachel and relax and recover. So far, so good.
I’ve posted some more baby photos to Flickr, but instead of posting them here, I think I’m going to go back to the “separation” of blogging topics that I’ve done in the past – family-related posts, baby photos, etc, will be over at GadgetFamily.org, and I’ll continue the geeky stuff here at TinyScreenfuls.com.
The reason I have these separate blogs is there are family members and friends that don’t care to read the really geeky stuff I write, and we wanted to have a site we could send them to for family updates and photos. And there are probably people who read TinyScreenfuls for geekery, and don’t care about the family stuff (though based on the responses I got to the Gabriel posts, I’d say you like it ;-)). There is a little feed widget over in the sidebar that shows the last 10 posts from GadgetFamily.org.
So, I go back to work next week, and things are starting to settle down to something resembling normal, so if you are interested in the baby photos and family posts, don’t forget to check out GadgetFamily.org (or even better, subscribe to the feed). And you can expect the geekiness to resume here soon, though I’m sure there will always be a little overlap one way or the other.
