  • @annierodkins Well THERE’S your problem! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I know PowerPoint is Intel’s native language, but show some (lots of!) examples! :-) #
  • What’s the general consensus out there on Technorati (specifically, their Rank and Authority numbers) these days? Tell me your stories! :-) #
  • Important post on blog security (and WordPress in particular) practices by @photomatt. Go read it, then live it. http://tinyurl.com/69628y #
  • @rachelbancroft That’s gotta be heaven for Gabe – two of his favorite things, cars and baths, combined! Awesome! If only they had lollipops. #
  • @ahockley I usually keep post ideas/drafts as saved drafts in MarsEdit. #
  • @warrenss Yeah, I’ve been hearing great things about Groundswell. But my copy hasn’t arrived yet, so I haven’t read it! :-( #
  • Are there known issues getting Yahoo Pipes to consume FeedBurner feeds? A simple pipe to combine (Union) 4 feeds into 1 = only post titles. #
  • Working on a blog post/video post that I think you’re all going to like. :-) #
  • Oh, wow. I guess the redesign of the Intel Software Network blog went live: http://softwareblogs.intel.com #
  • Great. I’m trying to post what will probably be my most important/visted blog post so far this year, and mediatemple seems to be down. :-( #
  • @sharong About the redesign? We did it in house, I think. I really like it, so far. #
  • And here it is: Exclusive 23 minutes of hands on video with the Lenovo and Aigo MIDs from Shanghai: http://tinyurl.com/66hwdm #
  • @whurley The Lenovo MID is running a customized version of Linux. I think the distro is RedFlag, maybe Midinux. Not sure. Aigo is same. #
  • @whurley They’ll be out later this year. I want as many people as possible to get to use them, so if there’s ever a chance, I’ll hook you up #
  • @MightySquid I try my best! Thanks! :-) #
  • @sharong Huge compared to what? As a phone replacement? Or as a laptop companion? #
  • @sharong Think of first gen MIDs as PC companions, not phone replacements. They’re not small enough yet, but can do much more than a phone. #
  • @sharong And the second generation MIDs, based on the Moorestown platform, WILL be as small and pocketable as a phone. #
  • @sharong You’re welcome. Love having you around, and I love it when people ask me questions. It’s what makes me tick. :-) #
  • @smb That’s actually a very apt comparison – the Lenovo MID is about the same size and weight as a PSP. Didn’t have one on hand to compare. #
  • @skyler Yeah, the Lenovo MID totally makes your puny phone cower in fear and inadequacy. ๐Ÿ˜‰ #
  • @smb I couldn’t get a firm answer out of anyone on price, but if I had to guess, I’d say around $500-$600, maybe less. #
  • Listening to Paul Otellini’s webcast on Intel’s Q1 results, etc. SUPAR SEKRIT INTEL STUFF!!11! #
  • @MightySquid Glad to be of service. I’ll have a ton more info to share as MIDs come to market, so, consider me your source. :-) #
  • Listening to Paul Otellini, I keep wanting to live tweet the stuff he’s saying. And I have to keep stopping myself from doing it. Argh! ๐Ÿ˜‰ #
  • I think I can say that people are asking Paul some dang good, pointed questions. And he’s giving good, clear answers. #
  • None of this is really SUPAR SEKRIT stuff, but I’m sure I’d be fired in an instant for livetweeting an internal quarterly update webcast. ๐Ÿ˜‰ #
  • Today, I learned that people really want to know how MIDs compare to 1)The Sony PSP, and 2)the Asus EeePC. I’ll work on getting details. :-) #
  • @Giania MID = Mobile Internet Device. The coming generation of small devices based on the Intel Atom processor, running Linux. #
  • @sierramodro LOL yeah, it was all in CEO-speak. But he was believeable, and even funny in some places. Baby steps, right? :-) #
  • I am so far behind in feed reading, it’s not even funny. Plucking out the "must read" stuff in preparation for a Mark As Read blitz. #
