  • Yay! I’m got approved for a press pass to Ubuntu Live and OSCON. Saves my group some money, so more of our folks can attend. :-) #
  • Hey @amybarton – can you approve my request to follow you on Twitter, so I can see your tweets? :-) #
  • Quotably is AWESOME at showing you threaded Twitter conversations (like the big one on OpenID last night): http://quotably.com/jabancroft #
  • @sharong Late response, but yes, I love Doctorow’s novels and stories. Very hardcore/dense/geeky, but that’s why I love them. And who is it? #
  • A few clicks and a few minutes later, TinyScreenfuls.com is upgraded to WordPress 2.5.1. I love the WP Automatic Upgrade plugin! :-) #
  • @rickmahn WPAU has some bumps. I always have to manually activate my plugins after the DB upgrade, then run cleanup, but otherwise, yes. #
  • OK, OpenID people. I’m setting up myVidoop. I want to use my blog URL as a delegate. How do I make my blog URL a valid OpenID? #
  • @skyler I don’t know. What annoying problem did you have last week? WP 2.5.1 relnotes here: http://tinyurl.com/66oz8z #
  • @psteinb Try Twhirl or Alert Thingy. Or Twitteriffic. #
  • @vidoop How do I make the myVidoop plugin remember my passwords? FF3beta5 on Mac. I’m signed in, but it’s complaining that Java’s not there. #
  • @vidoop Thanks. I just sent a bug report through the "Contact Us" form. Is there an email addy or something else I should try? #
  • @vidoop Cool – thanks. In the mean time, it’s working OK in Firefox 2 on Windows in my VM. But I never use my VM, so looking for a Mac fix! #
  • @AndruEdwards The PSP cannot charge over USB (not without a special cable that also connects to the charging port). #
  • @AndruEdwards But the PSP charger is pretty common. Same as the old iPAQ chargers. A common tip. RadioShack or similar should have something #
  • @marusin Wait, what? Mario Kart Wii is out? I thought it wasn’t until next week? I guess my weekend plans just changed. 😉 #
  • @kenkaplan Actually, I have two copies of Groundswell now. @billpearson got me one, and then @jbernoff sent me another. But thanks! :-) #
  • @mnology Well, @marusin says he’ll have it this weekend, and @hangry says Amazon just shipped it to him. I might hit the stores headed home. #
  • @kenekaplan And @rohitbhargava sent me a copy of PNI, which says nice things about me. :-) And I’m tempted to buy them both for my Kindle! #
  • @jrnoded Sunday? Crap. Looks like I won’t be playing until next week then. Will have to get a extra Wii Wheel or three, too. #
  • @kenekaplan Thank you for thinking of me, though! :-) #
  • Just installed the WP-OpenID plugin on TinyScreenfuls.com, and it appears to be working. Quick, @ahockley or someone, go leave a comment! 😉 #
  • @memathews Thanks! #
  • And it looks like my site just went down, right when I was asking everyone to hammer on it. Sorry! Stupid mediatemple *grumble*… :-( #
  • http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/www.tinyscreenfuls.com = "It’s not just you! http://www.tinyscreenfuls.com looks down from here. " :-( #
  • @memathews Well, I can’t get to it. Maybe the Intel proxies suddenly decided to block it. Besides, that video is streaming from blip.tv. #
  • @ahockley No, but I host a ton of sites there, and only just finished migrating from 1and1. Switching hosts is a huge pain.. :-( #
  • Engadget claims to have a photo of the 3G iPhone. Looks quite convincing – shiny black: http://tinyurl.com/5vk7qn #
  • OK, this is weird. I’m now getting an HTTP 500 server error at http://www.tinyscreenfuls.com, but my other sites on (mt) are OK… #
  • @memathews doesn’t look like your comment went through. Could you try again? BTW, mediatemple sez they’re having an intermittent outage… #
  • OK, I’m mad now. OpenID is NOT working on my blog. Disabled it for now. Will screw with it later when I have more patience. So much for easy #
  • @ahockley @verso @beersndblog Guess I’ll keep killing kittens. Can someone tell me why WP-OpenID is made of FAIL on my blog? #
  • @oregoniansteve you need to talk to @geekygirldawn, @tiesque, @ravenzachary and the rest of the Legion of Tech crew. #
  • @verso my theme is K2. Does that mean that OpenID only works if you’re using certain themes? Lame! *pout* #
  • @ahockley I get no errors. Just nothing when I click Submit, using OpenID or not. Breaks comments completely, which is why its disabled now. #
  • @oregoniansteve The guy behind Lunch 2.0 is @jkuramot #
  • @oregoniansteve LOL @ "fubarcamp" :-) #
  • @Oregoniansteve ask @geekygirldawn re: foo, bar, and fubar. She can explain. :-) #
  • Oh, wow! I just discovered that you can download free books from manybooks.net, in native Kindle format, FROM the Kindle browser itself! :-) #
  • That makes manybooks.net a free version of the wireless Kindle store. #
  • Hey hey! I make OpenID work on my blog. The problem seemed to be with my theme (K2). "Live Commenting", specifically. Killed that, et viola! #
