  • Everyone needs to know that @jerry_makare, my partner in launching @isntv, deserves HUGE props. He is a camera-slinging rock star. πŸ™‚ #
  • And I also have to thank my boss, @billpearson, for not only allowing crazy harebrained ideas, but encouraging them, and helping them bloom. #
  • I forgot to thank @rachelbancroft for putting up with me being distracted, working early and late hours getting @isntv off the ground. πŸ™‚ #
  • Tom’s Hardware also has nice things to say about Intel Software Network TV: http://bit.ly/rlvUn #

  • RT @SarahCofer: Anyone have older cell Phones that have digicams and gps units that they can donate to a 4-H mapping project? #
  • @aaroneiche A surprising number of older “dumb” phones have cameras and some form of GPS. I have a couple floating around somewhere… in reply to aaroneiche #
  • How come I’m sitting here, instead of downloading Final Fantasy VII for PSP? Oh, that’s right. I’ve got a gig of video to upload first. πŸ™‚ #

  • RT @IgnitePortland The talks for Ignite Portland 6 have been announced! What you’ll be seeing on stage at #IP6: http://bit.ly/ip6talks #
  • I love it when I spend an hour on the phone with support, and the answer is “submit a request on site XYZ”. Then a script fixes the issue. #
  • And by “love”, I mean “hate”. πŸ™‚ (re: my last tweet) #
  • RT @timoreilly: Love the subtitle of The Art of Concurrency:A Thread Monkey’s Guide to Writing Parallel Applications http://bit.ly/14NYDh #
  • Dear Parallels VM hard drive file. Thanks for getting corrupted. Did you know they turn the lights out at work after 7PM? Love, Josh. #
  • @turkchgo how to fix a corrupted Parallels HDD file? No, I don’t. How? in reply to turkchgo #
  • I don’t store any data in my VM. All my Outlook PSTs etc live out in Mac userspace, where Time Machine backs ’em up. My VM is “disposable”. #
  • I do occasional snapshots of my VM HDD file. Alas, newest one was 1+yo, so I had to install XP SP3, get it back on the domain, etc. #
  • So, it cost me a couple of hours, but my VM is back up and running, no data lost. And now I have a fresh VM HDD snapshot. All’s well! πŸ™‚ #
  • @turkchgo D’oh! That was my exact problem, and that fix would have saved me hours. I’m embarrassed. I should have turned to Twitter first. in reply to turkchgo #
  • @drewbernard Windows 7 is quite nice. I use XP solely as a life support system for Outlook, which is a necessity of life at work. in reply to drewbernard #
  • @brady An Ignite for MTV Brasil? Que legal (awesome)! πŸ™‚ Let me know if you need help. I lived in Brasil for 2 years, speak Portuguese… in reply to brady #
