Stopped by the Apple Store at Pioneer Place downtown, to pick up Snot Leopard, and to check out the festivities. There was a line about 25 deep, but what surprised me was it was the line for people buying Macs, iPhones, and iPods. The Snow Leopard line only had one guy in it, and moved fast.
The highlight of the day came as I was leaving the mall. I saw my train coming, and was hurrying to catch it. I tripped on the stairs and faceplanted, hard. I landed mostly on my left hand/elbow. Pain. I think I was in mild shock on the train (yes, I made it) – almost fainted, felt like I was going to plurk, cold sweat, etc
Nothing was obviously broken, and I could move it ok, but as the day has progressed, it has stiffened up and swolen. I’ve iced it, but I think I’m going to gave to break down and go have it looked at.
All of which means I’m not installing and playing with Snow Leopard yet, and that hurts more than my elbow!

Update: Dr. says elbow’s just a strain, no bony injury. So that’s good. Aleve and ice packs a few times a day for me!
