- RT @IgnitePortland: Update your calendars – IP7 has MOVED to 11/19 (one week later). Don't miss it! http://j.mp/SE1zF #
- Reading about the new features in @Tweetie 2.0 for iPhone, I absolutely cannot wait! Thanks, @atebits! Check it out: http://bit.ly/UtqkU #
- @gregleff given the amount of work and love that went into @Tweetie 2, I think Loren should charge. It's only $3 – less than a meal.
in reply to gregleff # - I think we too often feel entitled to free software and services. Developers deserve to make money from their work, just like everyone else. #
- I may be biased, but I love @atebits' work. If you remember, I couldn't wait to give him my $15 for Tweetie for Mac. I'll do the same for 2. #
- I'm jabancroft on the ping! iPhone app, if anyone wants to help me test it out. #
- @PDXPean ping! is a direct iPhone-to-iPhone messaging system, like BlackBerry Messenger. in reply to PDXPean #
- @canine dude, I got like three pings from you. Did you get my reply?
in reply to canine # - Thanks all who helped me test ping. It works fine, but it's way too noisy/intrusive at scale (lots of convos).
Great for 1 on 1, though. # - That is, each individual conversation in ping was great. But 4 or 5 at once was chaos.
# - SimpleNote or WriteRoom on iPhone? SimpleNote is blazing fast and pure. WriteRoom has TextExpander support. What say you? (I have both.) #
- I think SimpleNote's speed, speed and smoothness (not UI, but how you add/find/sync notes) give it an edge. TextExpander support would rock. #
- The iPhone apps i'm hearing the most buzz about tonight are Tweetie 2, CNN's new live app, and the EyeTV app that let's you watch live TV. #
- Here's the link for the Elgato EyeTV app: http://itunes.com/app/EyeTV If you have EyeTV for Mac, you can watch live and recorded TV. #
- @krynsky I use Posterous to post photos to all those destinations (email or PicPosterous iPhone app). PixelPipe is also awesome for that. in reply to krynsky #
