  • I just ousted @jexball as the mayor of Intel – Jones Farm on @foursquare! http://4sq.com/8chn4v #
  • Drinking hot chocolate this morning, instead of Mt Dew (I'm not a coffee/tea drinker). Kind of nice having something warm. #
  • Now I remember why I don't drink hot chocolate that often. Hate the furry tongue feeling. πŸ˜› #
  • Let's play We Rule on the iPhone! My gamername is 'jabancroft'. http://bit.ly/d4seUk #
  • So, what's the best iPad crossword app out there? I really enjoyed 2Across on iPhone, and how it could grab puzzles from many locations. #
  • RT @pocketables: The thing I do least on all smartphones is talk on the phone. #
  • Unexpected and awesome: iPad Camera USB connector seems to support USB Audio http://dlvr.it/bw9z #
  • Imagine this: iPad + USB Camera Kit dongle + Dock + USB Hub + USB card reader + USB audio device. Ooh, possibilities. #
  • @DrPizza I wouldn't carry it all around. But as a desk docking setup, it would be surprisingly capable. in reply to DrPizza #

  • Chaos at work today. Never seen anything like it. #
  • If you're using McAfee AntiVirus on XP, be careful. Updating to 5958 DAT files causes a reboot loop: http://bit.ly/a8VZJ7 #
  • Huh. Turns out that Windows XP kind of needs svchost.exe to run any services. And it needs services to do, well, anything. πŸ˜› #
  • @CptNemo9189 Oh, I'm *well* aware of how important svchost.exe is. Spent years in IT. Was just venting a little sarcasm. πŸ˜‰ in reply to CptNemo9189 #
  • Coolest thing I saw today? The flowering of "community support", people helping their neighbors solve problems. Loved it. πŸ™‚ #

  • Someone needs to tell whoever runs the Frontline audiocast/podcast servers that the latest episode keeps getting stuck halfway downloaded. #
  • How have I gone so long without Clipmenu on my Mac? Just installed it, set it up to save me at *least* 5 minutes a day. http://bit.ly/9MR9MV #
  • On the hunt for the perfect iPad wallpaper. Some nice ones here: http://mantia.me/wallpaper Any suggestions? Geeky/funny/subtle a plus. #

  • Been meaning to check out Glee on TV. Now I hear there's an iPad/iPhone app? By Smule? And @joeljohnson likes it? Sold! http://bit.ly/bSry3d #
  • @dlkinney 1. Get GoodReader 2. iTunes, sync your iPad, look at the bottom of the Apps tab. 3. Add PDFs to be copied there. in reply to dlkinney #

  • RT @r: @steverubel You missed the memo: "Resonance marketing" is a "Social media marketing"-killer. Like when social media killed Web 2.0 #

  • Is there an iPad app for the Boston Globe's Big Picture yet? The site doesn't show the photos, and the iPhone app is pixel doubled. #
  • @ahockley Yes, the Guardian Eyewitness iPad app is gorgeous. It's what made me wish for The Big Picture on iPad. in reply to ahockley #
  • Love that GoodReader on iPad now registers what file types it can handle. Now I can download ePub books straight from Feedbooks.com, etc. #
  • The fact that the iBooks app doesn't register "I can handle ePub files" seems like an omission, now. I'd much rather ePub files go there. #
  • And of course, it would be awesome if the Kindle iPad app registered what kinds of files it can handle. Heck, every app should do this. #
  • @geekygirldawn I loved Henry's Hunan last time I was in SF. Give it a try, for sure. Osha Thai was nowhere near as good as eSan, though. πŸ˜‰ in reply to geekygirldawn #

  • @shadowbottle Yeah, I'm a Combo Updater kind of guy now (tip o' the hat to @macfixer for showing me the light). πŸ™‚ in reply to shadowbottle #
