  • You a student? Smart PM-type? Come be a paid intern in my group (Intel Academic Software Community): http://j.mp/AcadIntern #
  • New Safari 5 feature? "Auto-Click" option (in Bookmarks Mgr) to open a folder full of bookmarks in tabs w/1 click. Nice! #
  • @turkchgo Oh. Well. Guess I'm not very observant, then (re: Safari Auto Click bookmark folder feature). Thanks! :-) in reply to turkchgo #
  • Howcast How To Videos for iPad is out, and it's free: http://bit.ly/bzTh6l #
  • @verso I like Flight Tracker Pro. Integrates with Tripit, neat maps, push notifications for boarding and gate/flight changes. in reply to verso #
  • @verso @lwdupont this is the FlightTrack Pro I'm talking about. Not sure there's a free version. http://twitpic.com/1vodes in reply to verso #
  • @verso Oops. GG reading comprehension. :-) Pro gives push alerts, Tripit sync, delay prediction. in reply to verso #
  • @verso there is an in app upgrade path to go from FlightTrack to Pro if you want. in reply to verso #

  • MobileDL uses Simplenote to download files to your Mac http://j.mp/apTztY Brilliant. #
  • Installing Android 2.2 Froyo on my Nexus One. So far, so good. What cool stuff should I check out once I'm at 2.2? #
  • @KevinCTofel @ahockley Froyo hotspot functionality is cool, but I'm running my N1 wifi only (for testing), so it's moot. :-) in reply to KevinCTofel #
  • Installed Flash 10.1 beta on my Froyo N1, and watched some @isntv videos via Livestream/Blip. Works pretty well! :-) #
  • So, @rachelbancroft and I will be in Munich, Germany from 6/28-7/3. Will be bringing unlocked phones. Researching SIM options. #
  • @matdotcx How much you figure an unlocked iPhone 4 would run in Germany? My plan was to get us both new ones before the trip. :-) in reply to matdotcx #
  • @LoSzabo Thanks – are Vodafone SIMs good for voice and data? And are they easy to find (say, at the airport, or downtown)? in reply to LoSzabo #
  • @AlbertOhMD I do get to play with lots of great gadgets for my work (though the iPhone is personal, and my main device). :-) in reply to AlbertOhMD #
  • @matdotcx That's about what I thought. I love the idea of an unlocked iPhone 4, but not for 700 Euro (x2). ;-) in reply to matdotcx #

  • All set up to watch the liveblogs of the WWDC keynote in the JF1 living room. I'm a hour early – doesn't start til 10AM. Come join me! #
  • Forgive me, but I'm going to be in full on Apple fanboy mode the rest of the day. You've been warned. :-) #
  • Of all the liveblogs I'm watching WWDC, have to say that @ejacqui and the folks at @arstechnica are absolutely killing it. Great job guys! #
  • @manimal You're right, I'm always in Apple fanboy mode. :-) in reply to manimal #
  • So, who wants to come to the Hillsboro AT&T store next Thursday morning with me, and buy a new iPhone 4? :-) #
  • Oops. I meant two weeks from Thursday, on 6/24. Sorry! I'll do a FB event or something on Upcoming. #
  • Once again, @jacqui, @clint, and @aurich did an AMAZING job with @arstechnica's liveblog at WWDC. Best I've seen. Congrats, guys! :-) #
  • @jacqui Oops! I certainly did! Sorry, that's not the first time I've left out the "e". :-) /cc @ejacqui in reply to jacqui #
  • Kinda bummed that the "magic" giant trackpad accessory wasn't announced at WWDC. I would totally replace my Magic Mouse with that. #
  • Wait, the iPhone 4 has fancy "aluminosilicate" glass. Has transparent aluminum (from Star Trek) arrived for real? :-) #
  • Anyone got a good link to a summary of the developer-related tidbits from WWDC this morning? $1B to devs, # of apps, etc.? #
  • @jkuramot @built @tiesque Venture backed lawsuits as a business model was a plot component in @Doctorow's novel Makers. :-) in reply to jkuramot #
  • iBooks for iPhone already out (in Brazil)? RT @garotasemfio: Instalando iBooks no iPhone. Já está disponível na AppStore, gratuitamente. #
  • @built Makers is available as a free download straight from @Doctorow: http://craphound.com/makers/ in reply to built #
  • @garotasemfio e iBooks para iPhone, ou iPad? Pensei que a versão iPhone não chegaria até o fim de Junho? in reply to garotasemfio #
  • RT @clint: RT @foresmac: My favorite iPhone 4 hands on pic: http://twitpic.com/1uupc4 More here: http://arst.ch/l4q #
  • I wonder if iMovie for iPhone is going to be an iPad universal app? Seems like the larger iPad screen would be better suited. #
  • @dswiese Using the Camera Connection Kit, the iPad can import video straight from almost any camera (Flip, etc.). in reply to dswiese #
  • RT @joeljohnson: OMG, @ejacqui's new Twitter icon is nerdorable. #
  • Is anyone actually able to download Safari 5, or did the press release just come out early? No joy in Software Update or apple.com/safari #
  • Downloading Safari 5 from apple.com/safari now #
  • Whoops. It didn't occur to me that @1Password would stop working in Safari 5. :-( #
  • Safari 5 "Reader" mode is nice, work just like Instapaper. Tried it on a Wired.com article. Ad popped up. Doesn't seem to work on my blog. #
  • Coda Notes Safari extension from @Panic sounds awesome – annotate and send screenshots from the browser. Can't wait for it. #
  • @k1mb3rly I certainly will be at the AT&T store on the 24th. I'll keep an eye out for you – but I call dibs on being first! ;-) in reply to k1mb3rly #
  • RT @1Password @jabancroft Sorry about that, please grab the update. http://blog.agile.ws/post/674703181 (for Safari 5) #
  • @jindofox I use ClicktoFlash, but not an explicit ad blocker. in reply to jindofox #
  • RT @marusin: the new iPhone is much more exciting than the new roof that I'm having to put on our house this week (/me too! :-) #

  • @gregleff I use the native Facebook iPhone app for FB notifications, and Boxcar for everything else. in reply to gregleff #
  • @semaphoria Bento has a very nice recipe template: http://twitpic.com/1tvvor #
  • Two more great apps get iPad universal versions: I Am T-Pain and Stanza. The ereader apps space is getting crowded on iPad. Love it. :-) #
  • RT @naominovik: Have a Kindle? Nook? iPad? Sony Reader? Computer? Download His Majesty's Dragon — FREE! http://bit.ly/c4QEPx (great book!) #
  • Stanza for iPad is a big deal. iBooks is a *great* ePub reader, but getting your own ePubs into it is a pain. Stanza always makes that easy. #
  • Oops. I lied re: I Am T-Pain for the iPad. Looks like "iPad compatibility" doesn't necessarily mean "runs as an iPad native app". Sorry. #
  • @semaphoria Perhaps some documents in Dropbox/SugarSync, in combo with Docs to Go? Let us know if you find an elegant solution! in reply to semaphoria #
  • Just roped a friend into a photo shoot at work. :-) #
  • Just caught up on all the Words With Friends games I was so behind on. Sorry! #

  • Love eBoy's pixel art? Their iPhone game, FixPix, is now in the store for $1.99. http://bit.ly/bdQ3sv #
  • RT @reederapp: For those asking, the [iPad] app will be available as soon as Apple approves it, the price will be 4.99$ #
  • Looks like Flixster and Super 7 got updated to "universal" iPad versions. Sweet! :-) #
  • @Ihnatko What's with the "Sprint EVO 45" typo in the title of your review on the Sun Times? :-) http://yfrog.com/4vnmsfj in reply to Ihnatko #
  • Busy day in the App Store today. Lots of new updates/new apps appearing. I love days like this! :-) #addict #
  • Another day without @reederapp for iPad makes @jabancroft a sad panda… :-( #
  • Latest update to Boxcar, my preferred push notification app for Twitter, brings iPad universal binary, and all services are now free. Sweet! #

  • I am SO TIRED of this leaking roof. It's been years and dozens of attempts at repair. We're cursed or something. I give up. :-( #
  • Anyone have recommendations for complete/partial roof replacement on a 13yo townhouse in the Beaverton area? #
  • @PDXrox I have a guy who does repairs, but I think I need a whole new roof. We just can't get rid of these leaks. :-( in reply to PDXrox #
  • Looks like I average about 250MB/month on my iPhone, according to AT&T: http://post.ly/iEtM #
  • So I won't be dropping to the cheapest 200MB/month plan, but the $25 2GB/month plan should do me just fine. #
  • Looks like @rachelbancroft averages about 100MB/month on her iPhone, so the cheaper 200MB/month plan would work for her. #
  • Instead of two $30 plans, we could switch to $15/250MB for @rachelbancroft, and $25/2GB plus $20 tethering for me for the exact same price. #
  • Trend of the day: People posting screenshots of their iPhone data usage trend graph. Like this. :-) http://yfrog.com/4vu5stj #
  • I can't remember, is tethering over wifi (aka turn your iPhone into a hotspot) an iPhone OS 4 feature? Maybe that's why AT&T is waiting. #
  • @hawkear I know USB and BT tethering are in OS 3.0. @shadowbottle wifi tethering, if real, might be why AT&T will require OS 4.0. in reply to hawkear #
  • Google Reader Introduces Easy Folder and Tag Renaming [Google Reader] http://j.mp/c1jwoq Finally! :-) #
  • @macfixer Go to wireless.att.com, My Account, Bill & Payments, Create a Billing Report, Data Usage Trend to see the graph. in reply to macfixer #
  • @shadowbottle Nothing but pure wishful thinking. :-) Just pondering why AT&T is waiting for OS 4 when OS 3 supports tethering just fine. in reply to shadowbottle #
  • Thinking I'll switch back to @Twitterrific on my Mac for a while. @Tweetie is getting long in the tooth. Can't wait for the update. #
  • Why, yes, I am searching for @Reederapp for iPad in the App Store multiple times per day since it was submitted. Why do you ask? ;-) #
  • I blew by the 700 mark of apps for my iPhone/iPad sometime last week. At 719 right now. :-) #

  • The Pulse news app for iPad is pretty slick. 20 feed limit sounded like a dealbreaker, but in practice it's fine. #
  • Pulse for iPad is well suited to news aggregation sites, like Ars Technica, Techmeme, BoingBoing, etc. Interesting stuff always goes there. #
  • Dear iPhone toting friends – if you aren't playing QRANK (daily social trivia) and Fruit Ninja ($0.99), you really should be. :-) #
